These Are Very Powerful Heavy Duty SuperturbineTM Generators These Powerful Units Utilizes Rare-Earth Neodymium Supermagnets. They have Sealed, Double-Wide Bearings, Note the Easy three (3) Wire Connection: The initial output is called "wild 3-phase AC" power, a sinusoidal 3-phase alternating current that varies in frequency with the wind speed. Most people run 3-phase down the tower using a 3-conductor cable, such as 10-gauge like an extension cord, or heavier cable, depending on voltage. We provide a rectifier that changes 3-phase to DC (+/-). The rectifier can be located at or near the tower base, or near the inverter or battery room, or anywhere in between. A brake switch, to short out all 3 leads of the wild 3-phase coming from the generator, should be installed near the tower base. Braking works best with a short wire run. If you order a Grid-tie voltage we will provide an overvoltage
